Are you having problems with a trader in another EU country, Norway, Iceland, or the United Kingdom? We can help you move with your complaint – completely free of charge.
When you submit a complaint to ECC Denmark, we can:
- Assess your case against a trader and guide you towards other solutions if your case is not suitable for handling by ECC Denmark.
- Take your case forward and try to find a solution that is acceptable to both you and the trader.
Unfortunately, we cannot handle your case if:
- You have purchased goods or services from a Danish trader or service provider.
- You have purchased goods or services from a seller based outside the EU, Norway, Iceland, or the United Kingdom.
- You have not first contacted the trader yourself and attempted to resolve the issue.
- You are acting on behalf of a business.
- You are not resident in Denmark.
Here are some examples of issues you can complain about:
- Your flight was cancelled or delayed, and you have not received reimbursement or compensation.
- Your holiday accommodation did not match the description in the advertisement.
- You received an unexpected charge after renting a car abroad.
- You purchased an item online from a trader abroad but have still not received it, or it arrived faulty.
- You have been enrolled in an unwanted subscription.
ECC Denmark does not issue binding decisions and therefore cannot compel a trader to respond or participate in resolving a dispute.
